Background
Pyramid Communication Services, Inc. (PCSI) formed
in 1998, is a provider for telecommunications equipment and services.
From the start, Pyramid has been a service-oriented resource to
Business Services Partners (Nortel Partners in particular), providing
technical support for installation projects anywhere in the United
States and support for Warranty and Maintenance work-orders or Systems
Upgrades in our coverage areas. Providing technical support to other
telecommunication companies has been at the heart of Pyramid, and
understanding the needs of major telecom service providers in supporting
their customers with professional and conscientious technicians,
engineers and system design specialists has enabled Pyramid to forge
strong bonds with the largest telecommunications resource providers
in the country, and to expand from two small offices in Texas to
coverage areas throughout Texas and the Southwest.
One of the first companies to be awarded the SSCP
designation by Nortel for attaining the high level of certifications
and specifications required to support the Nortel product line as
a contractor, Pyramid has moved on to become a distributor for Nortel
Networks, and has added Cisco Systems and Shoretel to our product
offerings. The addition of these products to our sales base also
enables PCSI to offer technical support for Business Services Partners

Overview
Pyramid Communication Services, Inc., a Nortel Networks Elite Business
Partner and Cisco Systems Premier Partner, offers manufacturer certified
field technicians for installations, maintenance, and service offerings
for National Distributors, Regional Operating Companies and Independent
Communication Companies. Pyramid offers turnkey solutions that include
database collection, programming, training, project management,
maintenance coverage and Level 1 technical support for our field
technicians from our National Operations Center.

Pyramid’s strong growth as an installation partner
for company has come through the recruitment, retention continued
training of highly qualified and certified technicians. These certification’s
allowed Pyramid to be one of the first company of its type to gain
the recognition and certification from Nortel as a “Supplemental
Services Contract Provider”, (SSCP) to provide installation and
maintenance services on the entire product line of Nortel Networks.
In June of 2002, PCSI was given a “Premium Partner” status, and
in 2006 achieved the highest level of partnership “Elite Advantage
Partner” from Nortel.
With technical expertise in the complete Nortel product
line, PCSI has over 50 certified technicians and a skilled and experienced
team of System Design Specialists (SDS). Over forty of these technicians
are certified on Nortel products. Highlights of these certifications
